Your story does make a difference.

Your story makes a difference. Your life makes a difference. Whatever message you want to share with this world can be shared globally through publishing.

Hi. I am Fay Thompson, author, coach, and now editor. I decided to create Big Moose Publishing because I have gone through the self-publishing process and learned first-hand the pros and the pitfalls of going through a major publishing company. I then found that with today’s technology, there are other ways to gain the same result more economically. I realized that I could assist other people wanting to make their publishing dreams come to fruition and give friendly, personalized service, guidance, and the wisdom of my experience.

Big Moose Publishing is not a traditional publishing house. It is designed to help you get published your way.

Fay Thompson, B. Ed.
Editor of Big Moose Publishing

Once you complete your manuscript, it can be confusing to know what steps to take next. Truthfully, it is simple. Let me work out a plan and timeline for you. What do you need? Are you savvy with formatting and design, and just need direction? Or do you have no clue what to do and require someone to do the background work for you? Maybe you are someone who just wants someone else to take care of all of the details. No matter what your needs are, we can set up a plan to meet your needs and requirements.

Your book is a tool for you to promote you, your business, and your ideas. Whether you just wish to get your story out to a few friends and clients or have your book available to the world, Big Moose Publishing can make your dream a reality.

47 Days: A Journey Back Home
by Amanda Perrot

What happens when you make all the “responsible” choices, and you still feel like a miserable failure?

For Grounded Goodness founder Amanda Perrot, the answer is to get outta town. She crammed her business into a Subaru nicknamed Vladamir to spend 47 days discovering her home province, and what life could look like after her marriage failed. It started as a way to see new parts of Saskatchewan and sell some stuff along the way, but seven weeks later she’d learned more about herself and the power of community than she ever expected.

Amanda offers a glimpse of hope for women who know they would be happier if they left their marriage but don’t have an obvious or clear reason to point to when they explain why they want a divorce. This is a first-hand story of transformation that reassures us of the goodness and positivity that can come out of making the terrifying leap back into single life, and inspired to have our own difficult conversations.

This is a story for every woman who is tired of questioning herself and wants the unvarnished truth of what happens when we learn to:

  • honour ourselves;
  • be confident about what we want and need;
  • commit to our own happiness;
  • stop beating ourselves up; and
  • let our intuition take the lead.
